Central Kansas | Well, we’ve about made the rounds in the hospital. Hopefully the last stop. Surgery, ICU, post op floor and now in rehabilitation. Looks to be anywhere from 7 to 10 days, maybe more. I guess I didn’t realize when you mess with the brain, a lot of things of the body go haywire. Kathy has trouble with her left hand left arm and speech is not real forceful. She has a good memory if you ask her about something but kinda seems to be still in La La Land. She has three hours of rehabilitation scattered over a seven hour shift period.
We have been very grateful for all the prayers and I ask that you might continue praying on this last part of our journey. Might add that we still are waiting for the pathology report. Could possibly be another stop.......

North West IA/western AZ | Good to hear. Very few surgeries leave you better than you were before without a lot of work and rehab. The doctors don't often mention it, I think they are looking too hard at the symptom and not the recovery. Stay strong and positive! |
