| Several years ago had dust so thick and hanging with you could not see well. My job was to run the combine. Couple days later we changed to corn. Combine would just not rev up like it always had. Did I catch H_E_ two sticks for wasting money on a air filter (Old one hadnt been changed in 10 years), fuel filters, Fuel pump,all the way down the normal line. Was thinking all thats left is the fuel injection pump. Had the hood up more than down looking for issue source. Deep chaff everywhere.
Turned out to be such a build up of crap behind the shut off cable it wasnt returning completely shutting off the fuel to partial. Bet looked for the gremlin for a week. And all I heard was "SEE, you didnt need all those expensive parts you wasted all that money on". Such a simple fix. DUH! | |
