South central kansas | For me, the insurance deadline is not a drop dead date where people will just stop planting wheat, seen a lot of people plant after the insurance date, depending on their level of coverage and how long past the insurance date planting actually occurs. Have a quarter left to plant to wheat, but haven’t got the beans off, I know it is frustrating, but always have a plan B, for me that means planting more milo, if I can’t get all the wheat planted and selling cz19, just in case I have to plant more milo and if I get the wheat planted, take the hedge off of cz19 for milo.
