sw ontario | Beans contracted for Fall delivery FOB farm..... SO you call for trucks and they say we are trying to pick up and service guys without bins too keep them going...I realize guys loading out of field(s) want trucks and too combine also,been there,done that.......And I realize with contracts I am a captitive customer...My comment to grain company was "since I invested in bins I get penalized and have too wait and you take uncontracted grain before contract guys?"....I need too empty bins too put corn in & don't want to get caught like a few yrs. ago when ADM says we are full and you can't ship until xx. Don't want to be unreasonable but things sure change when grain co-ordinators for buyers are at some head office and they have new managers all the time at local elevators...end of rant | |
