Your in a totally different situation there in your climate. The guys in a more northern climate banking on 17-20% corn are most likely the ones not planting full season corn. Pushing maturities always makes sense but there is guys that think they are getting ahead by planting early season corn so it's a couple points dryer. I've never seen a machine that prints money but I do own a dryer and that's about the same thing.
I'm not scarred to pile corn. Much better roi imo.
