Big Sky Country
I use several similar to the black float. Not sure what that red/yellow thing is.

Inside the float is a big ball bearing, like an inch. It rolls from end to end to make contact.

You can buy one to turn when water is low---like to fill tank.

You can buy one to turn on when water is hi--like for sump pump.

If you can't get the first, can buy second and tape cord so it works backwards.

Mine are 110, no red/yellow thingy on other end, just female and male plugs, you plug male into power source, pump into female, when bearing activates, you got juice and pump starts.

The math on your d.c. power comes out to pretty low watts---

You do need to leave about 4" of 'slack' where you tie off float, so it's got room to cyle both ways---just takes a bit of tinkering to get it located right.
