I can say for sure he will have half the semen production he is supposed to have, so if you want to do it, don't depend on him to service very many heifers! I would spend the money to have his semen tested at least. There are cases where a diseased testicle affects the good one next to it, though it sounds like the one just atrophied and should not affect the other. You will have to listen to a lecture from the vet! | |
