Nebraska, The land of corn and cattle | Theres a big difference between out once in a while and out all the time, sounds like its the latter and I dont blame the guy for being frustrated. We have guy who rents pasture next to us thats sort of the same, every year we end up with a couple of his critters cuz they dont respect fences, and theyre wild, but thats his own doing, everything has to be done at top speed.
Last year there were 3 of them that had bounties on their heads, a guy couldnt get within 100 yards of them and they were off an running.
But Ive found theres a difference in the character of people with livestock and those without. Strickly grain farmers have no tolerance for critters, while those of us who have them know that things happen, and it might be the other way around next time. |
