VA | Better to have too much than not enough but i have right at 65 fall calving cows and i feed right at 400 4x5s a year. I go into winter with 450 and normally have 50 or more left over. But I’d keep my equipment honestly and still fence my owned hay ground. I would look at how your feeding your hay maybe some serious waste there. Invest in J and L feeders and your feed waste will go to nothing and i bet you get through winter on 225 Rolls | |
