If you can always buy it for $20-30 per bale, do it. As someone else said build a shed. Play the market and buy when you think it’s low. There should be more than $10/bale of fertilizer value in the hay as well. So if you buy alot of hay and move your feeding locations around you can put a good dent in your fertilizer bill.
