| Wanting to put headlocks outside for our bred dairy heifers. The place with the most room for 200 head is on the north side of the barn. Worried about our winters. It can get down to 0 to -10with the wind blowing 25 mph out of the north. Also I would have to leave a door open from the freestall barn facing the north for them to walk in and out of. Would make the barn cold and snow would blow in. I would put a wind break up with round bails to help. Is this a good idea or find another spot. | |
