He will give them a shot of something put paint on their head so he knows who has been given the shot. Shortly after they will lay down and go to sleep. He will then burn the horns off and band the bulls. The most compassionate way I have ever seen dehorning done. The calves will literally wake up and go back to eating and playing. He does it before they start the weaning phase of the feeding program. | |
