Missouri

$20 per unit via 2000lb bags dumped into seed my tender. Putting down 90lbs/acre and when it runs out I'll switch back to the cereal rye I usually use. Other than the tight harvest window and the big variety differences, rye has proved to be very good spring grazing and forage for several years here.

There is a lot of .gov money floating around from the drought here that is probably swallowing up seed. There's a lot of guys operating without the money as well though. Everything from seed, waterers, to even just the brass fittings for underground pipe are "hard to get" and being marked up to get a piece of the hand outs. It's bull$hit and after some internet orders to get around the local mark ups, I'm going to make sure to remember those who tried to scalp when guys were getting pinched.
