Wabash county,Il | The crew that chops for me finished up silage yesterday morning just before getting a nice slow shower.
We started by filling a 9x300 on July 28 as I was running out of old crop and had some 104 day corn planted for this. It still tested close to 80% moisture but caused no problems when I started feeding it 5 days later.
We restart last weekend and used 10' bags for the remainder. Corn was yielding rather well. The fields pictured ranged 200-240 bushel with a clay hill field @160-170 and some water damaged bottoms that were around 100.
