Grabill, Indiana | ASF is a real concern for the industry. I know we are already getting a push to source North American only ingredients, the problem is that most of the vitamins and amino acids are from China; sourcing North American ingredients is either more expensive or impossible.
I know the American Association of Swine Veterinarians and the NPPC are working with the USDA to step up monitoring and vigilance, if ASF hits the US it would be devastating for the industry. | |
