For 20 cows use the KISS technique.
Hay in round bale feeders. Throw a few lb of corn or dry distillers in a bunk if you want to.
Silage is not worth the work for that few of animals. Will be hard to keep it fresh. Also having to start a tractor in the cold every day will get old.
