The lodging would cut costs sharing if you could live with your relatives that long! LOL! Shared lodging could easily save $500-1000 depending on days. What is your age? Seems as though Branson is a family oriented tourist area but older folks and veterans ( they cater to them and give discounts most everywhere if a veteran) can enjoy it more. Our younger son has yet to go down and an older daughter goes down every year. We try to go down as much as we can. Always enjoy it. If you have access to a boat or rent one you can spend as much time on the water as you want as previous poster said. Current lake temp is around 85°. Never be able to see it all in one visit let alone several.

Fix as many meals as you can and then spend the money on the attractions that your family would enjoy.
