Clicker, we see very little difference in the hay. Inside of bale looks just like the outside. Cattle consume all the hay equal out of bale rings if fed that way. Only thing they sort off is large weed stems and briars if those are present in the bale. NH3 attaches to the moisture so it is best that the bales are dry so it disperses evenly.
