Our bill is $75/acre for the chopper and $60/he for each tractor that they haul (3) and push (1) with. So that's up to $240 an hour. Last year the bill was $8,325 for 63 acres so that's $132 an acre or about $6.50 a ton - chopped, hauled, and packed in the bunk silo.

Shorter corn would be more I would guess.
