Maybe check alternative news sites about temp gauges being put in altered areas. As in hot, parking garages, roof tops and such. Also, about 10 years ago noaa changed data on web site to show the 80’s hotter than the 30’s. If you had data saved, the old data had the 30’s warmer.

I have no idea on yield predictions, but yea we had a week of hot, now being July. 90 ish and 70ish lows.
