Love kawaii and Maui. Would probably prefer kawaii,little more laid back but getting built up on one end if I remember. We have been to Hawaii 4 or 5 times but always in Jan or early feb. climate is hard to beat but traffic seems to get worse every time. 2 days in Honolulu was about enough for me.
