No. Not true. I never looked at the high for the year to the low of the year. I looked at the monthly, picked the risk on rally high whenever it occurred, and then the correction from that that generally ended in the late summer time frame. Alot of times there was were further lows or earlier year highs, but the intention was to measure the seasonal puke from the those highs and normalize it - not the swing length for the year.
