East Central Indiana | The general public could care less what happens to farmers
Everyone is so far removed from the farm they are clueless how their food is actually grown. Until the shelves are empty or their grocery bills go through the roof it will be the farthest thing from their minds.
Besides not knowing how their food actually gets to their tables, it only takes one article posted online for a whole new set of people to get a bad perception of agriculture. Especially livestock. A so-called “author” sits behind a screen typing away about a subject they actually know nothing about and “poof” instantly people believe whatever they read. | |
