SW Ontario | If you don’t like crowds stay away from Honolulu/Waikiki. Was packed and we went at quietest time of the year. Can drive the whole island end to end in an hour or two so really anywhere on the island would work. Think turtle bay resort is the only resort/hotel and is located on the east side of the island. Personally liked the eastern/northern side of the island most the west side was pretty rough. A lot of people living in old cars/tents. If I was going to stay in one spot for the week it would be Haleiwa. Couple real nice restaurants and beaches if you go west of town. Also a little more laid back and not so many Japanese tourists walking around with selfie sticks. Maybe try an air bnb? | |
