Dills, FL | We lost a young farmer in my area last week by his own hand. I didn't know him and don't know the circumstances of his life and what was wrong but have heard he loved farming but something snapped in him. He was only in his late 20's. I have known of too many people over the years who've taken their lives and though mild depression is probably a normal part of life I know there is good help for anyone struggling with major depression. Just the other day I was thinking of Scot Nelson who was an active member here and like several people who are no longer here I wish I could have talked to them once more to hope it would have made a difference in their decisions. | |
