Interesting you say that theres a farm by dysart Iowa thats about a 100ft from a pioneer seed plant and about that far off a busy highway it was recently in the our Iowa magazine as one of the prettiest farms in Iowa I have never ever smelled those barns one of the guys I work with whose wife does all the environmental stuff for one of the big pig producers and he always said they must use a lot of pit additives to make it not smell


I hual a lot of liquid manure . Yes guys add additives to reduce manure smell . For me dairy manure is bad it lingers on you longer than hog . There's times I'm hualing hog manure . Come home wife Ask what I was hualing can't even smell . Now dairy a different story
