| The problem with writing checks is that your check has everything that a person needs about your checking accounts except for SS#. Unless you put the SS# on the checks. Then they have everything that they need about you and your accounts.
Then the major problem is that US mail has to get your check to the person that you want to pay. I had a check that was mailed by the bank. The check never made it to the business. Once I notified the CU, they took 24 hours to put the money back in my account. First check to have been lost in the 15 years of using the internet for banking.
Reason to start paying checks on the internet. I had a CC that you would get a charge for non payment if I got the bill and did not put a check in the mail the next day. If the bill came on Saturday, then there was a $20 or so fee.
