My only bitch about big livestock operations is when the owner does not live on the farm. They stick a hired man there and they live in town. I asked a guy who wanted to build pig barns whay are you living town and sticking a hired man there. He said his wife didn't want to smell the pigs.
I agree that is total BS. You want stock you live with the stock. No different than wind turbines, you want them on your ground you best live in their shadows too.
