If you have young kids and you make it to rapid city or there abouts, stay at watiki hotel. Best water park for younger kids and middle aged parents.
I'm going to try and get to mystic hills getaway for atv/utv rental and trail riding one of these days.

Watiki is awesome for kids! We also rented a utv while we were there for a day, it was a blast! Next time we will be taking our own along so we can spend more time riding!
