They go where the $$ tells them to and tariffs are increasing costs of materials.


I wonder if that is a real reason? Let's think about this, motorcycle like an Indian or Harley weighs about 800 lbs.
400 lbs of steel=$400 @ $1 per pound
400 lbs of aluminum = $800 @ $2 per pound
That makes $1,200 in metal in a $35,000 bike.
Even if you double the cost of raw materials you wouldn't notice or see much of cost in the final product.


Yeah it's not the steel, it's the tariffs Europe is adding in retaliation. Something nearly two grand per bike.
