NW Illinois Stephenson county
Do you take a big drink of water, power aid, or something when you go in? When I stop sweating, I think I'm overdue for some hydration. Soon as I take a big drink of water I start sweating again. On extra hot days, evening milkings in the milking parlor with 8 1300 lb portable heaters (dairy cows), I would sweat so much I had to drink 6-8 32 ounce bottles of water (re-fills of water in power aid bottles) during milking, If I stopped sweating I would go drink another one. When done milking my pants would be soaked with salt outlines on the legs, my boots would have an inch of water in them, and after feeding the calves I would take a long cool shower. I'm glad during the last few days I don't milk any more. Keep cool!
