The decisions of Harley were made several years ago. The company did not just make the decision recently. The Japanese bike price and the new generation of rider's wants and budgets are causing these decisions. Harley has again, just as in the 80s, made some wrong decisions that has, and now will, cost them far too much. Just look at the cost of getting the V-rod into production, and even with it;'s success, they quit the line in just a few short years. |
