Northeastern Pa.
We now rent the crop land on what was the largest Dairy in our county. We used to harvest for them. Dairies going out but yet 2 others barrowed 2 million to update and expand. I doubt they will ever pay it off. Money is way to easy to barrow. I wish them luck. Most all of the large farms in the early 70's are now gone here. Large then was 100-200 milkers. I remember the 1st year I had a combine I got $56 a ton for shell corn and it was being imported out of Canada for $75 a ton.
