I don't know where you are at in Michigan. However, Gas Buddy does not seem to back up what you are saying.

I arbitarily picked Cassopolis, MI and plugged it in.  Gas buddy says $2.78-2.80 in that area.

What's the difference? 
IMO.GB is "FIXED/RIGGED, 
 It was 2.99-9 at 5:48 PM. My "RANT" pertains to WHY the cost goes up so radically "here",yet as other posters twist the knife in,their area is going DOWN /gallon??!! I just don't understand??!!
