perryton, tx | I complained in early June about being the center of that heat bullseye. For the 1st half of June it was pretty well right on but since the 16th we've had 6-8 inches of rain and generally below normal temps. Our corn is almost to tassel and sprinklers have been off going on 10 days which is almost unheard off. The only downside is the pigweeds in all the wheat stubble are going to be 4 feet tall by the time it dries out. | |
