Next week and the following should be fun. Lots of volatility. Funds have a large number of their long bets hedged with downside protection. No conviction on the corn market for them yet. Option implied volatility has been creeping up rather quickly. Those traders are still uncertain.

Next week brings:

Compressed trading week from holiday.
First trading session after acres report
Tariffs are implemented if nothing changes on that front

If the later two come out bearish or bullish together, coupled with a short trading week, you better be holding on for the ride.
