Like most math questions, the math depends on everything else in the equation remaining the same. Its very likely (due to adequate world supplies) that US producers will get less than the predicted amount because anyone in the chain of grain buying will use the tariff threat to increase their basis to protect themselves and because they know they can get away with it.
