sw ontario | So on average what would land that sold average yield be ? Our area 170 corn, 50 beans , 85 wheat is normal and I think we are way over priced at $8,000 CAD which would be around $6k usd. --taxes run $12-15 acre.....Also do you have to pay a land transfer tax ? That land transfer tax and a simple lawyer closing fee is around $25,000 on a farm selling for $1 million.....Owning land is good but you still have too pay for it if you want too keep it. | |
