Se wisc. | Accumulator contracts may be different then doubler contracts. But I like doublers for 10 or 15 percent of production. Forces sales when I sometimes sit on my hands "hoping" things go higher. Two more days and the $4.32 contract on 8000 bushel expires. But the .30 premium on the first 4000 stays. Helps to bring average sales price bove $4.00 at the farm gate. Without this premium incentive I might have been sitting on more inventory of both old and new crop. But to each his own. Selling any bushels at a market premium is a plus. Helps to have gambling bushels to play with and selling another 8000 bushel at $4.32 would be fine with me even if corn went to $5.00.
