Auto steer. My dad is 62 and stubborn as heck. I have it in the sprayer and on the planter and he refuses to just hit the switch.


Greg, your dad is one heck of a cool guy. My now (74 yr old father) bought our first autosteer unit in 2009. I thought it was pointless, but he knew what he was doing. FYI...dad is the ONLY one of the farm who knows how to plant a straight line...I can do okay, but not like him. He bought autosteer so mom could keep running a tractor for a few more years despite severe arthritis. Looking back on it now, that price tag was small compared to the extra years they got to farm together.
