Made them to see it better. These are logarithmic charts which show it better over the long term.
Like said yesterday, 5.50-6.00 the target in this cycle and 2.25 for corn. Yippie

I'd be willing to make a wager that we hit 20 before we hit 6.

Put a trendline on off the 1940 lows and it's more like 8.

That is what you would call "curve fitting" to make a chart what you want it to look like.

If you did that you would be missing the 1960's cycle lows and 1920's pre depression prices.

A week and 20 cents ago you were bullish, hope you didn't pull the trigger down here. Good luck with your 6 dollars beans hopefully that isn't part of your maketing plan the next 3 years.

How can you even argue about this chart, on the top the trendline hit all the highs during that era, and on the bottom they also hit.

Its reality weather it happens next year or 5 years from now, the next 3-4 looks tough if we have a decent crop this year.

So... 3 of the last 4 US crops were huge or records with 2015 still being big, plus multiple record Brazilian soys in that period, yet we’ve still had prices at $4+ and $10+ but a decent 2018 crop is going to be the cause of doom? Maybe you should go relax with a cold beer instead of all this fear mongering.

Why is the bottom line for the band the target VS the center median between the lines?

At what point does it become making a chart to fit the narrative? Is switching to a logarithmic scale truly kosher when making charts?

You might as well bring up the price of tea in China. This chart means nothing to us producers. What if we remain sideways to slightly up and finally reach the lower line 25 years from now? Wouldn’t it be $10-12?But National avg is 68??

Interesting how I remember you being very bearish in the past. Thought you and AgTrader, Darth Vader, were brothers. You disappear, reappear pretty bullish, and now you are back to your old self-bearish. You seem to follow the markets rather than predict them. No offense, just the way I see it. Good luck with your prognostications, but there is only One who knows what tomorrow brings. Worry not about tomorrow...
