Northern Illinois | Spraying last field of roundup. Field is out of the way. Had sprayer breakdown that required driving to the shop. Folded up the booms and took off to the shop. Drove a half mile on a lane that has been mowed grass for 50. Quarter mile on the road. Whipped into driveway and spun around on some grass. Get out to quickly fix the sprayer and notice that the sprayer is dripping wet. Realize in my haste I did not turn the sprayer off.
Chance of rain on Tuesday so Monday I will put the little spreader behind the lawn mower and spread some grass seed. Hoping to get a stand as I do not want to rip up the lane. | |
