Elmira, Ontario

usafarmer - 6/7/2018 14:26 I thought I heard on the radio this morning that Wynne conceited the election????

She acknowledged that it was not possible for the Liberal party to win enough seats to form the next government. She is scrambling to save enough seats to maintain official party status in the next session. I expect that they decided to focus on roughly 15 of their best ridings for the final week and only spend leadership time and money in those. The goal would be to get 8 or more seats. Let the candidates in the rest of the province run their own campaign.

I really don't know what the purpose was to announce this publicly unless she wanted to show she was humbled. That might allow some who wanted to teach her a lesson to still vote Liberal. I expect she will announce retirement by tomorrow.
