North Dakota | I hear you loud and clear. Lost 4 days of seeding last week having one surgically removed. Changing knock-on shovels with air hammer and the next morning writhing in pain. Knocked a 9mm one down that acted like a cork. They used a laser and removed pieces in a basket. Just got my stent out. Wasn’t fun finishing up seeding with the stent and pissing blood for a week. Couldn’t take my pain meds and operate machinery so it was white knuckle to finish up.
When I went into the ER they gave me three shots of fentanyl. Didn’t work. One shot of morphine sort of dulled it. Finally they gave me Dilaudid. That worked.
This was my 5th stone. Had lithotripsy done on a 11mm one last October. I am now stone free. Hopefully my ultra-low oxalate diet I am on, coupled with taking potassium citrate will do the trick and I will not produce more.
