North of London
Good to hear you got going.
Thought with all the activity we saw you would be able to.
Strange how ground dries some years.
You have of course had more rain than we have in the last month.
Don't think we are up to average just yet for the month of May but we still have a couple days to go.
One thing we do have is lots of HU so far.
Have not topped my highest numbers for May yet but are above average for the whole month by Sunday.
1991 takes the top number for HU's in May and we will not beat that this year.

There are a lot of farms with nothing planted yet.
Not like out area where planting is virtually done. A few fields that are probably going to see some edible beans planted but I bet with this heat there will be edibles in the ground now too.

We actually had 8 mm of rain overnight Sunday/ Monday.
All dried up today and it was a little hit and miss from here to London on our trip but everything looked dry after we got through London but not much activity in fields until after Chatham area. Of course we were travelling around 8am to 10 so maybe they were just heading to the fields after 9ish.

were still lights going as we came home so adding some hours later in the day.
