So from the time I leave home, sign in at job site or open 5 gates to get to job and get my tools out. You can pretty figure 2 hrs gone. Then figure time to diagnose, get parts and return to job and repair another 2 hrs are gone. Here Cat , Case, John Deere charge $1000 to show up.
Just out of curiosity, what general location are you located?? To be at least an hour away from a perspective job,you must be in Northern Siberia?? You don't have your locale listed for some reason??The price you listed for the"big 3" is exactly why we run somewhat "owner fixable" equipment. We still have to get some repairs done by our local independent,but not your pay scale, LOL! Must be a regional thing. Hope you stay busy. |
