I use a few methods as we have a ton of them.

1. Badminton or tennis rackets- a lot of fun since they love to hover and usually pretty close to you. Kids love it once they realize they aren't aggressive and don't sting. It's pretty satisfying to make contact and hear them bounce off the ground.

2. Carpenter bee foam spray in the holes. The little red tube helps get it deep in the holes.

3. I cut wood dowel rods that are the same diameter as the holes. Put a little wood glue on the plug and shove it in.
