| This has been discussed already I believe, but iirc there are 9 or 10 major crops that usda tracks and records acres for. Those total something like 350 million acres. That total number was exactly the same this year as it has been for the last several. Remember PP was at near record low the last 2 years, so there is a few lost there if that is more normal. Otherwise those acres went to cotton, spring wheat, maybe other small grains and some crp buffer strips. | |
