Buying beans or bean meal could be a hedge for endusers, such as livestock producers.
Incidentaly, Roach has a buy singnal on soybeas as of this week.
Well, that’s true, but JC said in his original post that it was a speculative move. I’m not gonna explain the difference here, as I’d think everyone would already know the difference. Long crops in the bin or field is one thing, getting longer yet by buying on the board is an entirely different thing. My suggestion was to separate the two into two different forums. Doing so wouldn’t make the information unavailable, it would however make it easier to find advice on actual marketing over outright speculating. I speculate some myself, so I certainly wasn’t attacking anyone. |
