| Secretariat made all horses look slow. On this day in 1973 he won the Kentucky Derby an it wasnt even close. In his races he was just toying with all those horses. When he turned on the steam it was over. We might never see a horse like that again. He started last in one off his races an blew by seven horses in the matter off twenty seconds. An went on to when by thirty lengths. Secretariat was listed as one off the 50 top athletes off the twentieth century. The only horse ever to do so.
